Estimate the 6-month and 12-month bill for a normal private car. Petrol, diesel, petrol-hybrid, and electric. The formula is LTA's. Off-peak cars, taxis, classic cars, vintage cars, and company cars use other rules.

10 completed years adds 10%. Each extra year adds another 10%, up to 50% from 14 years. The surcharge hits road tax only.
